John Mitchell
Along with the rest of the training staff John Mitchell “Tap-Tap” has also had a long career in the transportation industy with the Teamsters for over 40 years.

- 2019 – present – instructor at the driving school
John Mitchell brings with him an unbelievable amount of energy to the school and knowledge of the industry through his long tenured career at New Penn as a local pickup and delivery driver. His training ability is top notch and he has helped countless trainees break past any barriers that they are facing especially when it comes to learning how to shift at the Industrial Park. His persistence ALWAYS pays off with every one of the trainees. His focus on doing it the right way and the SAFE way and this is always evident with his catch phrase. “You can’t get to D(rive) without first getting through A, B and C”. Anyone that has trained here or will train with John will understand real quickly as to how we wants to lay the building blocks to being a safe driver by learning the basics first before cutting the trainee out on the road without doing them first. John is a huge asset to the school and wants to make sure everyone succeeds no matter their skill sets.
