Training Schedule

Curious about the training schedule and cost?

     The Teamsters Driving School holds a new class every two weeks starting on Monday’s. Once per-enrollment requirements have been met  you will have the ability to reserve a start date that is convenient for you and your family!

     The driving school is hyper focused on SAFETY and not just milling out drivers. Our classes are limited capacity for a reason and so are our hours. Don’t fret, the schedule can be flexible for those who may be working part time looking to better their lives with a CDL license. We do however require a minimum of two days a week as to not hold up others from entering the program and to see that the Entry Level Driver Training Theory portion of the program is completed in a timely manner. Due to the I-195 Westbound bridge closure we have decided to modify the training schedule to an hour early than listed below. Training now begins at 7:30 am and ends at 1:30. This is now permanent and we may modify the schedule depending on the ongoing traffic impacts.

The Teamsters Driving School is SPECIFICALLY grant driven. We no longer take self pay participants and those who enroll in our training will be joining the Teamsters. There are absolutely no strings attached contrary to some of the myths that have been circulated on the web and in the public when joining our program though any of the grant structures we offer! If you decide the training isn’t for you that is fine but we will surely try our best to encourage and help you in any way possible to make sure you do complete but sometimes a commercial truck can be somewhat nerve racking. The list of requirements listed below are specifically for the Real Jobs RI grant.

We DO NOT upcharge in any sort of way! These costs are paid to third parties by the participant of the program and not to the school. HAZMAT background check is REQUIRED to enroll in the Real Jobs RI Grant!
