IMPORTANT WEATHER UPDATE As much as we hate to cancel training, unfortunately we will have to tomorrow. After looking at various weather forecasts, we have decided out of an abundance of caution and for the safety of our trainees and our training staff we will be closed tomorrow 12/19/2025. We will be back at it again on Monday 12/22/25. Have a good weekend and drive safely!!

*IMPORTANT REAL JOBS RI GRANT UPDATE*

After another successful year of training, we are extremely humbled with the amount of continued interest in not only our training program but also the industry. The Director, Brian is trying his best to keep up with all of the calls and questions but on a daily basis there are a lot. With that said we will be rolling out a refreshed web design in the coming weeks with a better Q and A section that will help to alleviate some of those questions and sharing some very exciting news regarding the Real Jobs RI program. Until then however, there are no more available training spots through that grant structure for the remainder of the year. We do however have another grant that is specific to Providence, RI residents ONLY. Spots are very limited (7 in total). If you are a Providence, RI resident who is looking to enroll in the program to get your CDL as a Teamster member send us and email and be sure to let us know that you are interested in this specific opportunity and we will certainly guide you in the right direction and make sure that you qualify for the grant and that the industry is a great fit for you and your family.

HOLIDAY SCHEDULE

The Driving School will be closed from 12/24/25 - 1/5/2026 in celebration of the Christmas and New Year's holidays and to give the staff some much needed R and R in preparation for the upcoming training year. The Director and training staff want to wish everyone a very safe, merry and happy holiday season! Drive Safely!

Informational Session Update

While the one on one informational sessions have provided a great way to sit down with the Director of Training or a knowlegable staff member, we have found unfortunately that there a those who book the appointment and then don't show up for whatever reason. By taking that appointment and not showing up those individuals are possibly taking an opportunity from someone who is truly interested. For this reason we have decided to go back to our tried and true open house format. After the open house we will certainly be available to take questions and easily scheduele a follow up meeting to make sure that the transportation industry is a good fit for you and your family. Those who have already scheduled an appointment you can keep it and we will meet with you. Moving forward we will go back to our bi-weekly open house schedule to be released very soon.
